Médecins Sans Frontières
Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivered emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, natural disasters, and exclusion from health care in 69 countries in 2015. On any one day, thousands of individuals representing dozens of nationalities can be found providing assistance to people caught in crises around the world. They are doctors, nurses, logistics experts, administrators, epidemiologists, laboratory technicians, mental health professionals, and others who work together in accordance with MSF’s guiding principles of humanitarian action and medical ethics. The organization received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999
Glamour's global
The Girl Project, Glamour's global philanthropic initiative in partnership with Communities in Schools, CARE, Plan International USA, and Girls Inc., raises funds to break down the barriers to secondary education for young women all over the world. Fifty million girls worldwide are denied the right to an education; some are forced into child marriage, live in areas where education is forbidden, walk to school in fear of being kidnapped, or are unable to afford school fees. The Girl Project helps address those obstacles by allowing women in the U.S. to help support the actual schooling of girls around the globe.
Share and Care Foundation
Share and Care Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to empower rural India. Over the past 34 years, we have invested over $71 million in 800 programs throughout India. We believe it is our social responsibility to create a more equal world, where everyone has access to essential rights such as Gender Equality, Access to Healthcare, Quality, Affordable Education, and Sanitation and Hygiene. Our unique and interconnected programs take a holistic approach to truly empowering each of our beneficiaries to create a better standard of living for themselves and their communities.
